Call for Artists List

The City of Lynnwood Arts Commission invites visual artists of all ages who reside in Washington State to apply for 2027 exhibitions at the Lynnwood City Hall Art Gallery. Exhibitions run approximately six weeks to two months, and most shows feature two artists with approximately 5–8 works per artist. There is no application fee, and artists may sell work directly with no commission charged by the City. Submit the application along with up to eight JPEG images.

The City of Elma seeks an experienced muralist or artist team for a permanent outdoor public art installation inspired by “Where Everyone Belongs.” The project combines multiple hanging mural pieces into a cohesive collage drawing on 10 community-submitted concepts. The artist budget is $15,000 and covers design, materials, fabrication, painting, finishing, and delivery; the City handles mounting. Artists with outdoor mural, public art, or comparable installation experience are encouraged to apply. No application fee. Qualifications are due November 2, 2026; project completion is scheduled for July 31, 2027.

Artist Trust offers unrestricted $10,000 Fellowship Awards to Washington State artists in all disciplines, recognizing artistic excellence and an established, ongoing creative practice. Applicants must be at least 18 and reside in Washington at application and payment. Individual artists and eligible artist teams may apply; students enrolled in degree programs and certain past award recipients are ineligible. Rural artists and artists from historically underrepresented communities are encouraged to apply. Submit work samples, a resume, and supporting statements through Submittable by November 2, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. Pacific. See the full guidelines for eligibility and application requirements.

Washington State artists are invited to submit original two-dimensional artwork inspired by gardens for the 2027 West Seattle Garden Tour. Painting, drawing, collage, art quilts, photography, and other fine-art media are welcome. Submit up to two works, each at least 16 × 20 inches, created within the past five years and not previously published, reproduced, or entered in this competition. The winner receives $750, and the artwork is featured in tour publicity. Winning and honorable-mention works will be exhibited in May and June 2027. The winning artwork and copyright transfer to the tour; the original will be auctioned to benefit grant recipients. Digital entries are due November 15, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. Pacific. Call for Blacklight and UV reactive art! Studio Bob is hosting its 4th Annual Bring Your Own Blacklight show. All mediums, sizes, welcome (family friendly please).s If you don’t know whether your art is blacklight reactive, you are welcome to bring it in to the Studio in November to test it using our lights.

The Hoffman Center for the Arts is reviewing submissions for the 2027 gallery exhibition season and helps shape what audiences see in our gallery. In 2027, we’re showing 2D and 3D gallery work only: photography, painting, drawing, printmaking, fiber, craft, ceramics, and sculpture that can be displayed in our small gallery. We welcome submissions from all over the Pacific Northwest, including artists who live or work in Tillamook, Clatsop, or Lincoln County. We do not prioritize submissions from artists who live or work in Manzanita. We especially welcome submissions from LGBTQIA+ artists, Black artists, Indigenous artists, artists of color, working-class artists, artists with disabilities, and others whose backgrounds or perspectives have been historically underrepresented in galleries in the Pacific Northwest.

Rain Shadow Artisans offers an exciting opportunity for local artists to share and sell their creations while connecting with the community. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, Rain Shadow Artisans is dedicated to bringing artists and community members together through a shared appreciation of locally created artwork. We invite local artists to join our dynamic group, showcase their work, engage with the public, and become part of a vibrant creative community. We will host 7 shows June-December. More details will be available on our website as we travel through Spring. Note, there is no due date as we accept applications all year long.

The Sequim Arts Commission is seeking artwork submissions for its annual High Schools of the Olympic Peninsula Art Exhibition. This exhibition is open to all students who reside on the North Olympic Peninsula, during the 2026/2027 academic school year. Each student artist is allowed to submit up to 2 artworks for consideration. Cash awards for 1st ($250), 2nd ($150), and 3rd ($100) place entries are sponsored by the City of Sequim & the Sequim Arts Commission. Checks will be mailed to student award winners after the exhibition concludes. The Exhibition will be on view in the Karen Kuznek-Reese Gallery at Civic Center from March 6th through Mid-April, 2026.
