3rd Annual Bring Your Own Blacklight Art Show

Studio Bob is holding its 3rd Annual Bring Your Own Blacklight Art Show this December, and is seeking submissions from participating artists. People are encouraged to drop off art at Studio Bob, located at 118 ½ E Front St. in downtown Port Angeles, on Tuesday, Dec. 9th between 4 and 6 and Wednesday Dec 10th between 4 and 9. Art must be ready to hang, and should be made with or incorporate materials that are UV/Blacklight reactive. There is a $5 fee for each piece submitted, with no limit on how many can be submitted. Pieces can be for sale with the gallery taking a 20% commission. The opening reception will be on Saturday, December 13th. 27th Bring Your Own Art Show

Studio Bob is seeking submissions for its 27th Bring Your Own Art show to be held in January. Artists can submit up to 3 pieces of any size, medium, or family friendly theme on January 5th, 6th, or 7th from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. There is a $5 fee per item submitted. Pieces can be submitted by the artist, or on behalf of a friend or family member (as long as proper credit is given) and can be for sale or not; Studio Bob will not take a commission on any pieces sold. Art should be framed or appropriately mounted and ready to hang. Please refrain from submitting sexually or politically offensive pieces. The opening reception will be on Saturday, January 10th from 5 to 9 p.m. and will feature the live music of Tin Sandwich. Studio Bob is located at 118 ½ E Front Street in downtown Port Angeles. Port Angeles Studio Tour 2026

Open to local Artists in the Port Angeles area. We invite you to participate in a two day celebration of original art in Open Studios in and around Port Angeles, AUGUST 15 & 16, 2026. This event will be an opportunity for the community to meet artists in their creative environment as they present and promote their work. We encourage anyone producing original works of art to participate. Media is open and includes traditional fine art forms: painting, drawing, mixed media, digital works, sculpture, printmaking. Also considered will be fine art crafts including weaving, glass, jewelry, ceramics and woodwork. We hope to present a diverse collection of unique and worthy pieces. Artists are asked to submit 4 representative pieces (in JPG format) for consideration. To apply is free. Juried selection will be based upon quality and originality. Summertide | Poetry In The Park

Port Angeles Fine Arts Center, in partnership with Olympic Peninsula Authors, is now accepting submissions for Poetry in the Park 2026! This year’s theme, “Cultivating Hope Through Nature,” invites poets to explore how the natural world restores, sustains, and inspires resilience. Eighteen poets will be selected to read their work on June 13, 2026, in Port Angeles Fine Arts Center’s courtyard during the Summertide Festival, receive a $50 honorarium, and have their poem displayed in Webster’s Woods for the upcoming year. Let Mary Oliver’s question—“What is it you plan to do with your one wild and precious life?”—spark your creativity. Submit by April 15, 2026, following the formatting and submission guidelines. Finalists will be notified on May 16.

Call for Poetry: Where I’m From

Residents of Clallam County are invited to submit your “Where I’m From” poems to Poet Laureate Nellie Bridge for potential publication in a printed anthology. Your submission will help shape the anthology. Please send in your favorite poem using the form below, and encourage your friends, too! Begin each line, sentence, or just every now and then with “I am from…” followed by a specific detail, name, smell, words that echo, or other important specific item from your life. The details do not need to come from Clallam County. There aren’t actually any rules, but specificity and realness are key.

Wintertide | Makers Market Vendors

The Port Angeles Fine Arts Center invites artists and artisans from Jefferson and Clallam counties to be part of our popular Wintertide Makers Market, running November 27–December 20, 2026. Held in the beautiful Esther Webster Gallery, this annual event offers a warm, inviting space where locally made, handcrafted goods shine. With cedar branches, twinkling lights, and a cozy seasonal atmosphere, the gallery becomes a destination for thoughtful gift-giving and meaningful connections between artists and the community. Wintertide Makers Market draws a steady flow of visitors throughout the season, boosted by popular events like the Wintertide Festival of Lights, which brings hundreds of attendees to the Arts Center. This is a prime opportunity for artists to showcase and sell their work during one of the busiest shopping times of the year. In addition to in-person traffic, participating artists benefit from promotion through the Fine Arts Center’s social media and newsletters. If you create unique, locally made goods and want to be part of a festive and well-attended market, we encourage you to apply.

Wintertide | Light Art Installations

Port Angeles Fine Arts Center is seeking applications for the 2026 Wintertide Light Art Experience, an outdoor exhibition held in Webster’s Woods Sculpture Park. Open to individual artists or artist teams, this opportunity invites the creation of durable, light-based sculptures inspired by the theme Nature After Dark—Illuminating the Darkness Through Connection. Selected works will be displayed November 27, 2026 through January 1, 2027, alongside an established sculpture collection and viewed by a wide public audience during nightly hours and the December 12, 2026 Wintertide Festival. With stipends ranging from $300–$1,500, this is an opportunity to showcase innovative work in a unique forest environment. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis through September 8.

Rain Shadow Artisans

Rain Shadow Artisans offers an exciting opportunity for local artists to share and sell their creations while connecting with the community. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, Rain Shadow Artisans is dedicated to bringing artists and community members together through a shared appreciation of locally created artwork. We invite local artists to join our dynamic group, showcase their work, engage with the public, and become part of a vibrant creative community. We will host 7 shows June-December. More details will be available on our website as we travel through Spring. Note, there is no due date as we accept applications all year long.
