#DRAWDARRELL ART CONTEST & CASH SCHOLARSHIP FOR CLALLAM STUDENTS
Calling all student artists in Clallam County! We're challenging you to draw your own version of Darrell and offering cash scholarships for the community's favorite! This year in honor of the 5th annual Squatchcon, we’re asking you to imagine our friendly Sasquatch mascot Darrell as a toddler!

Crescent Craft Fair
10x10 booth space at Crescent School gymnasium in Joyce, WA. Setup between 8 and 10 am on Saturday, December 6, please plan to stay until 3pm. Cost is $25, with 0% commission! Please email sgirard@csd313.org with a photo and description of your work.

2025 Bring Your Own Blacklight Art
It's in the title! Bring your Own Blacklight and UV reactive art for Studio Bob's December show. This form is required in order to post the Call for Art. You do not need to have filled out the form in order to participate (but it helps us plan). Submission fee is $5 per piece. Pieces can be fore sale, and a 10% commission will be taken. There is no limit on the size or number of pieces you submit. Pieces must be ready to hang and family friendly. Important information: Drop off dates: Dec. 9th from 4 to 6 and Dec 10th from 5 to 9 Opening Reception - December 13th from 5 to 9 Show Runs through January 4th Pick Up dates - Jan 5th 3 to 6

Waterfront Coffee Bar at Field Hall
Field Arts & Events Hall seeks proposals from North Olympic Peninsula artists interested in showcasing their work in our coffee bar. Selected artists will exhibit 8-15 pieces for a six-week rotation, with opportunities to connect with patrons during Second Saturday Art Walk. We welcome a variety of mediums and styles that align with our space and audience; all pieces of work must be for sale. To apply, please submit a brief artist statement & images of your work. High Schools of the Olympic Peninsula Art Exhibition
The Sequim Arts Commission is seeking artwork submissions for its annual High Schools of the Olympic Peninsula Art Exhibition. This exhibition is open to all students who reside on the North Olympic Peninsula, during the 2025/2026 academic school year. Each student artist is allowed to submit up to 3 artworks for consideration. Cash awards for 1st ($250), 2nd ($150), and 3rd ($100) place entries are sponsored by the City of Sequim & the Sequim Arts Commission. Checks will be mailed to student award winners after the exhibition concludes. The Exhibition will be on view in the Karen Kuznek-Reese Gallery at Civic Center from March 6th through April 9th, 2026.

Call for Poetry: Where I’m From
Residents of Clallam County are invited to submit your “Where I’m From” poems to Poet Laureate Nellie Bridge for potential publication in a printed anthology. Your submission will help shape the anthology. Please send in your favorite poem using the form below, and encourage your friends, too! Begin each line, sentence, or just every now and then with “I am from…” followed by a specific detail, name, smell, words that echo, or other important specific item from your life. The details do not need to come from Clallam County. There aren’t actually any rules, but specificity and realness are key.
